Well, I won't get Mom of the Year Award but this one had me rolling laughing! My oldest daughter is kind of dense...naive....guillible...pick one! LOL!

Anyway, one day we were sitting in the car and she picked up a bottle of aspirin. She said she had a headache and wanted to take an aspirin. I told her she didn't need an aspirin, but she insisted. So, after a minute I told her she could have an aspirin, but she had nothing to drink with it. She said, "that's okay my grandma says you can chew aspirin." I told her these were not chewable, but she kept insisting. Finally, I said, "Fine, Nicole, chew away." She said, "I can? For real?" So, I shrugged my shoulders and said uh huh, yeah, sure you can, in a very sarcastic voice.

The crazy girl popped two aspirin into her mouth and starting chewing. She immediately made a face and threw open the car door to start spitting. The faces she made had me cracking up!! She was tearing up my car trying to find something to get the taste out of her and I could not stop laughing because Ms. Drama Queen was hilarious!!!!! And even though I didn't purposely trick her, it did happen to be April 1st!!! Cruel, but soooooooooooo funny!! A year later, she still reminds me of that.

I thought this would be a joke to pull

This one is simple, but very effective -- even more so if the victim has been on vacation, and away from computers for a while. Simply switch the "M" and "N" key caps on their keyboard. Most office workers these days only partially touch-type. It's a big bonus if their password contains an "M" or and "N." Their frustration at not being able to log in is hilarious.

Well my hubby played a nasty one on me a few year back and came home to tell me he had been fired from his job. He had his boss give him paperwork to say so too. That was soo bad. Here I am with 3 kids and wondering where is the money coming from. The next morning I asked him where he was going so early he said to work duh. And oh yeah april fool to you lol.

Hi all...my first posting...((blushes @ being a new-bee)) Embarassed
About 16 years ago my mom got all 3 of us girls up early one Saturday morning explaining that her Great Aunt..a.k.a. $$Ol' Moneybags.. was flying in that afternoon to finalize her will w/lawyers. And being that she had no children of her own, ma said we want to make a good impression on her!! lol So we better get our house in Tip-Top Shape. Oh and by the way "she is highly allergic to dust " Mom says!!
We cleaned that day smiling and chatting about what we'd maybe get. The only time my mom could ever remember us not arguing while doing dishes, or fighting about putting each others laundry away!!
Needless to say.....Aunt never came that day! Flex Icon_butt
In fact there was no Great-Aunt at all!!!!!! She got us good!!REAL GOOD!

True story: On April First, My father (who suffered from alzheimers) gets a call from a man he used to do work for. Now this man is from Oslo and was a good family friend. The man had not been in touch for many years did not know about daddy's illness. The man wanted my father to repair a turbine on one of his ships that would soon be docking in Boston. So he calls dad and has this conversation with him about getting this job done. He suddenly realises that something is not quite right with dad and asks him"Austin do you need help?" well my dads brain is trying to work out the logistics with getting this job done and dad thinks the man is asking if he needs help with the job, as in putting a work crew together, so daddy say's yes. The man hangs up suddenly. Dad jumps in the car to go see my brother about helping with this job. In the mean time the man from oslo calls the connecticut state police and tells them that help is needed and gives our address. 10 min after dad leaves the house this ambulance pulls in the yard and these medics come flying in the door. They have no idea who needs help due to language constrictions with the man from oslo. So they grab up my grandmother, who was alone, lying on the couch, minding her own business(!) and stuff her into the ambulance and race off to the hospital with her, all the while she is beating them off with her cane and screaming bloody murder!! LOLOLOLOL!!!! We come home, find Gramma missing, call the state police who had changed shifts by this time, and no one knows a thing about the ambulance. Gramma is way loose in the mind and isn't capable of telling them our phone# or anything else. Finally a nurse who works at the hospital and is a family friend recognises grams and calls the house...needless to say it was quite the April fools joke on the entire family, but especially on poor Grandma!!!

OMG!!! What a thing to have happen on any day, especially April Fool's. How long did it take for everyone to recover!!!!/??? I remember 33 years ago I got a call at work saying my father-in-law had past away. We had been over there the night before. I was asked to go and tell my husband at work. I take off from my job, get in the car and head off for the 25 mile drive to my husband's job. It is the middle of a major blizzard and all of a sudden I stopped to think what day it was; "APRIL FOOL'S" Now I'm wondering if any of this is true but don't want to turn around just in case it is. All the way I'm hoping that it was going to be someone's idea of an April Fool's joke. I get there tell my husband and we head for the farm. Now all of a sudden he has the same thought that I had had earlier. As we drive onto the place we are both hoping that our thoughts were true. Unfortunately it wasn't an April Fool's joke. But I have never pulled an April Fool's trick on anyone since.
