Doyle Brunson is a gambling and Poker legend.
He has been playing No Limit Holdem since the
60s and helped it gain popularity.
He was the first person to win $1,000,000 in a poker tournament.
To this day he plays in some
of the highest cash games in the world.
I have watched him play for 12- 24 straight
hours, quite a feat at his age.

Icon_pray Cheers Doyle, you are my hero!! Icon_pray

Doyle Brunson (born August 10, 1933 in Longworth, Fisher County, Texas) is an American poker player who has played professionally for over 50 years. He is a two-time world champion of poker and the author of several poker books.

The first player to earn $1 million in poker tournaments, Brunson has won ten World Series of Poker bracelets throughout his career, tied with Johnny Chan for second all-time, one behind Phil Hellmuth's 11. He is also one of only four players to have won the main event at the World Series of Poker consecutively, which he did in 1976 and 1977.

Since I suggested a puzzle contest, you could not have picked a better first puzzle. Even if I didn't win (didn't have a clue actually), Doyle Brunson is the greatest poker player alive. I have seen TV interviews with him and some of the stories he told about playing poker were hilarious. Plus, I don't believe I would like to sit across the table from him in a Gin Rummy game much less poker.

Loved the contest!! Good job Tawnia. Thanks
