US Players Anticipate Return of Banished Online Casinos

US Players Anticipate Change The announcement yesterday by Barney Frank's office that he would author a bill to repeal the UIGEA within the next month was cheered by US online gambling patrons across the nation. While a few brave online casinos have withstood the pressure to disappear from US shores, many legitimate companies with outstanding products have been forced to block US patrons.
But, with the end of the Internet casino ban possibly in sight, players are excited at the prospects of indulging at many of the advanced slots produced by such software designers as CryptoLogic and Microgaming. Although Microgaming only recently withdrew from the US market, its multitude of games and online slots made entering a Microgaming casino like venturing into an endless candy store.
And CryptoLogic casinos are chock-full of US icons, waiting to be played by those who most identify with them. Marvel superheroes have been a fixture for some time at CryptoLogic online gambling sites. Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk lead an array of superhero-themed slots.
Now CryptoLogic has announced a deal to bring the most popular of all comic book characters, Batman and Superman, to gaming. Signing a deal with DC Comics locks up the powerful duo, as well as an assortment of others.
Further, CryptoLogic powers Playboy Casino, featuring the Playmate of the Month slot. What could be more ironic than superheroes and Playmates being blocked from US eyes?
The software companies that have remained in the US are to be commended for their fortitude. But players such as Eddie G. say, "I love Cocoa Casino and i-Slots, but I can't wait to play MySlot and Spider-Man! Variety is a key to happy gaming for me."
