Can anyone suggest a good Pop-up Blocker/Anti Virus software .. free is great but I am willing to pay for one that really works ..

There are a lot of good programs out there. Here is the site that I go to for any of my spyware, hijack, trojans, or any other problem that I have.

They have a process including the programs that will clean your entire computer of viruses, stingers, hi-jacks, spyware, adaware, and other problems. After you complete their process (which all of the programs are free), they will then let you know what programs to use. If you have any problems, you can just post and they will reply quickly.

Like I said, it's the sight that I go to and I work on a lot of computers as a side business.
