Why doesn't somebody form a lobbyist organization FOR internet gamblers? I've heard 8-9 BILLION dollars a year was being spent on Internet gambling-if we could have that kind of money for lobbyists we could grease a LOT of palms in Washington, and repeal this law permanently! Just a thought.

Seems to me that more people would enter this contest if they were really concerned about their rights as US citizens. Icon_syda

I'm afraid I have different beliefs than a lot of people on this board. Without getting on a soapbox-I don't believe congress cares about the rights of US citizens. I believe you BUY rights and freedoms(with lobbyists and money). Does anybody believe Bill Frist DIDN"T make money by his underhanded method of getting this bill added to the port security act? If so, I have some swamp land for sale in Fla. This is not the place, however, to have this kind of discussion-so I'll just make my beliefs known, and be done with it.

falcon69, Hello ! Smile
I understand what you are saying .. and agree to some degree but
all you can do is write your congressman and vote..
if you do not think that helps.. then I am sorry, I think it does.
BECAUSE:
If everyone had not voted for George Bush this never would have happened!

we could debate this forever, but sadly that will help nothing either..
All I can do is look forward and try to gamble somewhere.. WOW
and vote democrat in the next presidential election
(which may not help either)

It may be good to point out to your congressman that they can
tax billions and pay for 10 iraq wars if they tax and regulate online gambling
