My heart is like a "marshmellow", when it comes to animals.
2- Cats
1- Rat
1- Parakeet
*CATS
*Voodoo - male, black (of course), 20.5 pounds, 13 years old (hmmm, scary)
*Monster - female, black (who woulda' thought?), 4.7 pounds (is she on a diet? Umm, no.), 3 years old
*BIRD
*Esmer - girl, green, gonna' be 7 years old in January 2007
*RAT
* Jack - boy (wow, is it obvious - ain't no mystery there!), gray w/ a white patchty belly, approx. 1 year old, and wheighs almost the same as Monster! He's fat, that's all I know! I hate to call him a Rat, but that is what he is!
There is a little story about Jack.........I want to share
Well, I manage a Restaurant.
There is newly opened highschool down the street. Those kids come everyday after school is out.....and there are alot of them!
There was an older couple in for a late lunch. Before they left, the man approached me to let me know that there was a some sort of rodent running around and that I should take care of this problem.
I looked around, not wanting to make a big deal with these kids around.
One of the kids yelled out, "ew there's a rat in here". As all of them probably already knew that I was looking for it, the one kid showed me where. It was hiding between the wall and a garbage receptacle on the floor, with only about an inch or two to move.
After most of the kids were gone, we were able to lure it into a box. I did want to make sure that it was not a wild one.
Poor little guy.....they cut the end of his tail and it was bleeding. You could see the bone. He was a baby. Shaking and shaking. It was obvious that he was not wild.
I couldn't imagine to let him loose......he would not survive out there.
I really wasn't in the 'market' for anymore pets, but I have no regrets on giving him a new home......
He is very gentle and loves people! (I think he may even like the cats)
The name of the restaurant I manage, part of the name includes "Jack".
I figured it made sense!
And I hope that I don't find anymore animals. I may need to get a larger home!

I have a pitbull terrior, a little pure white kitten that my pitbull befriended and brought into our home, and a cockatiel that the dog protects from the kitten. So with that, the kitten will not swat at the bird and they all play happily together on the couch. They are all asleep now, so will send tomorrow.
How do you attach pictures...I have resized and cropped to where my pics are only the size of the emoticons and it is still Toooooo big......what do I have to do?
