Let's say you use a no deposit bonus and you meet all the requirements for play through and you only play by the rules stated for the bonus. You know you hit that play through because your cash drops back down to the max withdraw-able amount. Instead of cashing out can you play with that money in the casino?
My mom met the play through requirements on a casino I told her about that had a free bonus. She wants to keep playing instead of cashing out. Is that OK?

adamintx, Well you can keep playing but it makes no sense since you can not win more, you can only loose. If you have the max you can withdraw on a free chip and you keep playing you are playing for fun or only to loose... see my point?

One more thing to consider when you've met all wagering requirements on a bonus that has a max withdrawal. Not all casino's will automatically drop your balance to the max allowable when you've met the playthrough. When they do, as you stated above, it can be very misleading and confusing. I always thought of it as, 'why go through the process of withdrawaling, to turn around a re-deposit that same amount?'. Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense, seeing as they already removed the value of the bonus chip as well as everything over the max cashout amount. Welcome to the land of T&C my friend. On the other hand, a lot of casinos will not touch your balance until a withdrawal request is made/approved. For example, let's take a $25 freebie chip w/ 10x max cashout($250). Now, let's say you have a $400 balance at the time you make the required playthrough. Your balance won't automatically drop down to the amount of the max cashout(in this case, $250), but will remain at $400. When you're dealing with one of these casinos, it's advisable to continue to play until your balance drops down to the max cashout amount. Look at it this way, even if you cashout with a $400 balance, you will only get $250, as this is the max for this particular bonus. So why keep playing? Because, you can typically earn comp points which can result in additional free cash(many times without restrictions, depending on the casino). Remember to only play down to your max cashout though, and make your withdrawal.
When in doubt, get in touch w/ their support team and simply ask them to review your account and and advise you on how to proceed. This not only confirms that you've met all requirements, but they will usually give you some kind of helpful advise(i.e. maximizing comp points instead of simply forfeiting the additional monies).

beavo040, Well yes... if you have above the max cashout then keep playing for the comps, but Adam said the excess has already been removed... so basically if you have met the max cashout of $100 on a free chip and you don't cashout you are playing to loose only... you can never win more than you already have... but if you cashout, then redeposit after you are paid or somewhere else you are playing with no maximum cashout.
NEVER continue playing a bonus after you have reached the maximum withdrawal amount unless you hate money (except in the instance above when you have above the amount to play for comp points).

CORKMANJAN, Oh that is a heart breaker... I almost never use deposit bonuses because I hate the rules and when I play free chips with max cashout rules I pray not to hit the random jackpots!

OK, thanks. That makes sense. I was looking at it like maybe once it dropped to the max with-drawable and you kept playing you could cash out after that instead of take money from the casino.
Like, $25 bonus that has $1500 play through with max withdraw of $50. You play through $1500 and you account balance drops to $50. You can cash out that $50 but you can also keep playing with it instead of taking it from the casino and cashing out. Your balance keeps going up again (if you get lucky with your $50)
I've done this before on a casino not listed through noluckneeded.com (it was RTG software at not a recommend casino). The play through was $3000. I was playing slots at 125ish a spin and on the last spin before my play through was complete I got 25 free spins and the bonus round. So my balance dropped to $100 and I had 25 free spins at $125 going through at that point. I ended up with $16,000 in my balance when those spins were completed. I continued to play with that money hitting a little over $30,000 at one point. Comp wise I ended up with like 25,000 comp points at least. It was nutty. I didn't even try to withdraw because I new they would give me plenty of reasons not to allow it. It was entertaining though. I even took screenshots as I did it because I couldn't believe it.
