hi I went back to pokerstars after a number of years and to my surprise I wasn't allowed to win cash prizes. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

ez, Hey there. Several states have recently passed legislation legalizing online poker. Nevada residents already have options for state regulated online poker rooms, but the rest of us will have to wait a bit.

The current places accepting US players that are unregulated by the US are not too good, unless you already had an Intertops poker account as they are not taking new US players. They are the only ones I know to be trustworthy at this point.
