Hey all! I posed a question to TDTAT about the RTG software and asked - IF you hit something like a Royal or even just a lot of 4 of a kinds playing VP, is that game exclusive to you (the player) or is it like land-based machines where everyone has access. So if you hit big and only YOU have access to that game then, of course, your odds of hitting again will be lower for sometime. So this is the answer I got back from Inetbet:
"The odds are the same no matter how many times you hit a Royal - every game is independent of the last game so it is not effected by any hits you have. No player can access any game - so if you leave in the middle of a play and come back, the game remains intact."
So there you have it. Just incase anyone out there had the same question. I always felt that if I hit something big and left it alone for a while, my odds would improve - but obviously, that is not the case.
Happy Gambling!!!

rae, Thanks!! It is just like flipping a quarter..
If you flip heads 10 times in a row.. the odds are still
50/50 that you will flip heads the 11th time..
the probablity is lower, but the odds are the same

When I asked Palace of chance they said they shuffel the deck each and every time you hit the deal button.
That would mean
The odds of making a Royal Flush are 649739 to 1.
Wow. Do you know how many times you would have to deal that machine?
It is not a simple a flipping a quarter, but TDTAT I like your odds much better.
I have hit royals only on our state run lottery slot machines. Hitting two in my lifetime.
So Rae, the more times you deal the cards the better your odds.
Good luck to you, and have fun trying.

Hey Doug.. they are saying the same thing I am..
the odds are the same no matter what you hit last
but each casino has their odds set differently,
just as every machine in vegas has a slightly
different payout percentage.
I am no math wizz....
but Doug I think what you are talking about
is probability, not odds....
Your odds are the same each time you spin that you will hit a royal..
But say you have played 1000 hands and not hit a royal..
your odds are still the same, but the probability has increased
that you will hit it
I could be wrong, but this is how a card counter explained
it to me a life time ago in vegas..
Here is an illustration....
the land casinos started making 5x more money
on roulette when they added the board that showed
all the last numbers/colors hit...
Basically people would see something like red
hit the last 5 spins.. and think THIS TIME IT MUST
be black... but the wheel does not remember what it hit
last.. so the odds are the same if red hit 15x in a row,
that the next spin would be red... the probablitity changes
but not the odds

TDTAT what you are saying is true. A quarter will land heads 50% of the time using the law of averages. But you must flip more than one time to make this happen, or it will be 100/000. What I am saying is that if you use the law and you hit the deal button one time your odds are 649739 to 1. If you continue to play your odds get better, because of the same law of averages you quoted with the quarter.
If you then walk away, and come back to the same machine to play again, you have reset your odds back to the original 649739 to 1.
That is why you seem to get on a “winning streak”. If you play the lotto, and your chances are 390,010,157 to 1, your odds to win will increase every ticket you buy.
Take the scenario of roulette you mentioned The odds you will hit are 38 to1 and the law of averages says you will hit you number every 1444 spins, well of course we know that that may or may not happen. But averages tell us if you keep your bet on your number your odds to win will increase by 1/38th every spin of the wheel.
What I was trying to tell Rae, was if she walks away from the machine, she will reset her odds. Of course Rae could hit that royal on the first deal.
I was just giving Rae my opinion on walking away from a hot machine. Odds, are subject by the bet, repeat of the bet, and how the random number generator is set at. Some online casinos the royal is determined like a lottery, ie when bet number 14,014,078 for example is played, then it will hand out it royal jackpot.
You should contact your casino, and ask them how the Royal is determined, they are required to tell you whether it is random deal, or a fixed bet no.
But never the less thanks to NLN for the opportunity to express opinions. TDTAT it is always fun bantering with you.
Doug
Ps yes I know we are saying the same thing

Heres another question. Does it really matter what machine that you play? or is each machine have different odds. i mean its like your the only one playing on your account on all the machines right? so u basically will get paid no matter what machines your on? or switching machines impoves odds?
