My town was very badly hit by the hurricane. I am fine as I evacuated to Miami but I am not sure if my house is still standing. I have insurance and all my family members are accounted for so I am one of the lucky. Many lives have been lost.
I am waiting to hear from a long time noluck member who was also in the path. They are still without power and cell and internet so I am hoping she is fine. Let's all send love and light to her and all the protective energy we have or prayers.
Everyone please hug your loved ones and take a minute to appreciate the simple pleasures of having power and water and roof over your head. Hugs and love to all. _________________
kaymast24, pattie2, Thank you. I finally got pics of my house and it could be worse and was worse for many people. I have at least 3 pine trees on the house and a lot of missing shingles, maybe some cracked gables, but walls and windows are intact and the house did not flood from the street. I probably have some water inside for roof leakage. People can't get to the back to check for damage yet.
I am still waiting to hear from the noluck member who was also in the path but her town was not hit as bad as mine so I am hoping she is just without power and internet. _________________
Sorry to hear, T. Take care of yourself, and fam & friends.
