With so many families have a hard time financially, if you have a large family gathering and everyone buys gifts for each other each year. You might want to do limited gift exchange, with each person responsible for buying for only one other person. Just do a name draw. We do this each year and what we do at the end of dinner is have all names in a bowl and since everyones together we draw for the following year and already know who to buy for

KEEPING YOUR TREE FRESH AND GREEN

First cut about an inch off trunk, next take a drill with the longest bit you have at least 6" and drill up the trunk as far as it will go, then (excuse me ladies) take a tampon and stick it in the hole you just drilled. Instead of your tree just sitting in the water the afore mentioned object absorbs the water and pulls it up into the trunk. Your tree will look as fresh on new years as it did the day you cut it.

Relax and enjoy your family and friends; that is what it is all about. If you are a horrible cook invest in utilizing the pro's to cook your holiday meals. Serve on your best China. Be particuliarly attentive to your guest allowing them to know how important they are.

Slow down, take time to enjoy the crisp winter air, whats left of the different color leaves on the trees, all the beautiful lights, the extra joy ,laughter and excitement of children this time of year and last but not least, slow down and take time to look in the mirror every day and tell yourself these words;
"I love you, you are worthy of all the blessings that come your way this holiday season and always."

If you can afford it - buy gifts online to eliminate the stress of shopping, use gift bags instead of wrapping paper, buy gift cards as gifts (the teens especially love them) and buy disposable pans/decorative paper plates, etc for your holiday treats. Also invest in a tree with built-lights!
