This recipe makes the best deviled eggs I have ever tasted and it's my go to recipe for family gatherings. I'm making them for Thanksgiving! I put a sliver of bacon and small piece of chive on top so everyone calls them "fancy deviled eggs". Laughing

Also, I chop up a bit of bacon and add it to the mix in addition to using bacon as garnish (I also add the chives to the mixture). I use costco's microwave bacon so it's one less step to make everything faster.

Loaded Deviled Eggs

Makes: 24
INGREDIENTS

12 eggs, hard-boiled

½ cup sour cream

½ cup cooked bacon, chopped

¼ cup chives, finely chopped

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Chopped bacon, for garnish

Chives, for garnish

I've always had an aversion to mayo, so sour cream is much better for my tastes.

There are 2 ways to post pictures.

1st you can add them as an attachment to your post if they are saved on your computer. The "add an attachment" box is located just under the white box you type your message in after you click post reply.

The 2nd way is posting an image that is hosted offsite. To do that, put [img] before the link and [/img] after the link with no spaces.

The difference between the 2 is that only member who are logged in can view attachments but everyone can see the [img] [/img] pics.
