Out of curiosity, I wanted to know how many other members have had negative experiences centered around availability of promotions.

I actually just had a pretty bad experience with Intertops, which until this was my favorite online casino.

A little background, I placed and was paid from a freeroll poker tournament and subsequently played poker until making another deposit to play slots. It just so happened that $2.something was still in the Intertops wallet from the poker tournament. This is the same wallet your deposits inter before transferring them to casino red or casino classic. I met the playthrough of the bonus and accumulated a decent amount to withdraw. At that point I was told I needed $2.something in rake prior to being able to withdraw. So I played several ring games and a tournament in an attempt to meet the rake. In this time I was emailed twice and told that because of outstanding rake I would not be able to withdraw. Once the rake was completed I would be able to. I seemed to get varying responses regarding how much remained on the rake amount because it only updates overnight.

During this time I ended up playing and losing the funds that I had won, no big deal this happens every now and then.

Yesterday I had been sent a promotional code for freeplay based on being on their leaderboard. I figured it was a good opportunity to use the code given I had just lost on a deposit. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Upon attempting to redeem the code it wouldn’t work, prompting me to reach out to live support. There I was told my account had been reviewed by management and the promo code was revoked and I was no longer eligible for any deposit or no deposit bonuses. This struck me as odd because I’ve deposited a fair amount at the casino both with and without deposit bonuses. The rep told me that they couldn’t tell me why and that the terms and conditions dictate that no reason is necessary.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar at casinos you have frequently deposited at and to the best of your knowledge no had any issues with previously?

Boxer15, I'm sorry that happened! Bonus blocks happen all the time and have happened to me at lots of casinos, although never at Intertops. Casinos use an auto system to detect bonus abuse so you got tagged some how. It's not a perfect system. Bonus blocks usually fall off after a certain amount of time if you deposit and play. I suggest that you send an email attention/subject "Manager Help Needed, Wrongly Bonus Blocked". They will manually review your account. If that does not work, let me know and I can email the casinos.

I felt it was odd, given I had been regularly depositing and reached out to live chat a few days earlier with them giving me freeplay unsolicited during the chat. I’ll try the email.

Hi, sorry to say but you also get bonus blocked when you win more that you have deposited. Casinos do not like that...Hurts their profit margin...Good Luck Rolling Eyes

jslotter71, Yes! I avoid that by not using deposit bonuses and only claiming cash back. The 25% Cash back has no max cashout at Grande Vegas and you can play games other than slots with it. And you can play with no restrictions on your deposit. I spank Grande Vegas so often on video poker they probably should have banned me. face with tears of joy smiling face with horns

Wanted to provide a brief update. Based on recommendations in this thread, I sent an email to the complaints department. An automated message was received indicating the complaint would be reviewed and I would receive a response within 24-48 hours.

I have received no response in over 5 business days (7 calendar days).

On top of this, I received a specifically targeted free play coupon from intertops this morning. This lead me to believe that the issue was resolved, however, they still have my account blocked and will not provide a response.

Very bad experience with Intertops.

Edit: I also made several coupon free deposits between the time I was blocked and now in hopes it would resolve the issue. Alas, I was wrong.

I’m glad that it’s been resolved as I would assume it’s fairly rare that this works out in a player’s favor.

This a testament to the benefits of the message board, as the restriction was lifted though I never received any kind of response directly from intertops.

Happy to serve you as long as you don't win too much. I have played there over 7 years. They have taken plenty of my money & I have won some of theirs (of course, they have always gotten @ least 1/2 of it back while waiting for my cash out). Last week, I deposited BTC 2x into their same address by mistake. The 2nd one wasn't credited & the chat agent along with her superior were treating me like the village clown. Like I was a complete idiot trying to get free $ from them. But I could tell they knew nothing about what I was talking about and had no clue about BTC, wallets, addresses, etc. The "senior" did kick it upstairs, probably assuming they would deny me my credit which was my BTC that I bought which was deposited. I don't know if she got in trouble for having no idea about how one of the major currencies they deal with works or if they just decided I win too much there, but I have been completely cut off & am unable to do anything but deposit. They told me I am ineligible for Cashback Bonuses AFTER spending $700 straight cash-no bonus $ attached & am also ineligible to accrue comp points, as well. THIS CASINO IS GOING ROGUE!

I won a couple of months back at Jesters Win. Today is May 8th and still waiting to be cashed out. They have given me so many excuses - issue with payment processor - this has been sent to area in charge- every eel I get the same excuses. But n9 cashout. They have blocked me on social media - and no longer replying to my messages. My money is sitting on there gawping cashed out but they’re not sending it. They make up their own rules and do not honor their terms and conditions as their site states- I’m seriously warning do not play there. I have saved all my emails with all their many many lies and excuses over and over - I have screen shots of my winnings. And showing all the money is sitting on my account cashed out.
