i love the holidays, i love to see the look on my kids faces on christmas morning when they get up and look under the tree and see everything that santa has brought them.

We have told out children that Santa has a laptop with a built in wireless card so that he can access the internet no matter where he is. and he waits for parents to email him to let him know that the boys and girls are asleep and that it is ok for him to bring the gifts.

Also we will take fake snow and put it on my husbands boots and walk around by the fireplace. We put carrots and lettuce out for the reindeer.
Also we have a special plate and cup for santa. We put cookies and milk out for him.
The cool part about christmas, my 15 year old still believes

I love having my (small) extended family together. The best part about Christmas is my daughter's excitement on Christmas Eve and morning. Nothing beats that light in her eyes!

I do hate cleaning up though!

i will be spending christmas with my grown kid's and my grandchildren that i love so very much. the excitment on the grandkids face is so heart warming it makes me feel so great. i also never forget what the day is all about not just the food, not just the presents,but to my lord jesus. merry christmas to you all here at NLN and have a blessed holiday.

Actually Christ's likely date of birth is believed by many historians to have been in January, based on known historical events, which do correlate to scripture..... BUT "Christmas" is really based on pagan traditions ..... in fact it's where our Christmas tree comes from.... long before Christmas our ancestors practiced a winter ritual which celebrated mother earth- a decorated tree was the focal point..... maybe instead of the bible.... you might learn something from this tree and ..... LIGHTEN UP!!!
